Aubrey Peeples

Aubrey Peeples, an American singer and actress. Most famously, she is known for her performance as Layla Grant, in Nashville (2012) drama as well as Claudia Shepard from Sharknado (2013). In addition, she played the leading character Jerrica Jem Benton on the movie Jem and the Holograms (2015). Aubrey Peeples was raised in Lake Mary in Florida with her mother and father Wendy and Ashley. She also has an older sister named Ally. Aubrey was a performer with Orlando Repertory Theatre during her early years. Her speech was the valedictory for her class at Lake Mary Preparatory School. Harvard University had accepted her. But, they had to agree to her admission twice in order for her to assume the role in Nashville. Peeples appeared as a guest star on Drop Dead Diva (2009) Burn Notice (2007) Austin & Ally Austin & Ally Grey's Anatomy (2005), as well as a character who appeared in Necessary roughness (1991). She was in two made-for-television movies, Ace Ventura Jr. Pet Detective (2009 and The Good Mother). She played a prominent role for the Nashville series, where she appeared as Layla Grant. Peeples spoke about her bipolar disorder in an interview for NKD Magazine. Indiewire placed Peeples in the top spot on its list of top actors who are younger than September of 2014.
